Working at Cinnabar Design Build, I had the opportunity to be a part of designing and building many interactive installations like this propeller race. This interactive was installed at the California Science Center in downtown Los Angeles CA. I was tasked to take the concept of a propeller race that demonstrated how different pitch propellers acted physically when given the same rpm and released at the same time. As a lead fabricator I worked with another designer and we came up with this mechanism. Working at Cinnabar has allowed me to refine my design skills as well as my fabrication expertise.

Here is a great example of some of my show stopping electronics display interactive work. In cooperation with Pavegen, Sunglass Hut, and several other cooperate entities I created this amazing interactive lighting for this dance floor which actually generated electricity as people danced on it. The Sun Dance Floor traveled around the US and with the help of local crews I headed up the lighting install in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, and Miami. Pavegen is a great new technology I encourage you to learn more! Just follow the link below.

In 2015 I had the opportunity to collaborate with Vuro Design and Columbia Sportswear to design and build this water shooting game for the outdoor retailer convention held in Salt Lake City Utah. It ended up being one of the most fun experiences as I was able to attend the convention and run the interactive. It was really a fun time and a rare opportunity to actually get direct feedback from the people who played the game.
